I’m a doctor and use my watch to count patient’s respiratory rate. I need the second hand to remain on screen for about 2 minutes, but all the Wear OS watch faces I have revert to ambient mode after 15 seconds or so.
Bubble Cloud feature:
Timer for doctors / nurses / medical professionals
This is a short time-period timer in Bubble Clouds that you can start easily. It is used by many nurses and doctors, and I have incorporated many of the feedback I received from them:
What does it do:
► ambient mode WITH sweeping seconds (not just SD3100 WearOS watches)
► markers for 15-30-45 and 60 sec from start
► tiny flags count 0-3 minutes
► quick reset by tapping anywhere on the screen
► don’t have to look: watch vibrates after 15, 30 or 60 seconds (select via long press)
► sweeping seconds hand so it doesn’t throw you off when you need to count something
How to start it:
► long press the watch-face
► or tap hourglass icon on watch-face
► or assign to the long press of the main button (or double long press)
► or, on watches with configurable hardware buttons, you can assign the button to start it (single or double press)
Battery friendly:
► uses dark colors and minimal animation to conserve battery
► it will auto exit after a few minutes to avoid accidental battery drain

Play Store:

Advanced tip:
► Using doctor’s timer without the app drawer
No need for a watch-face with seconds hand in ambient mode! That would drain the battery unnecessarily. This you can enable quickly and easily with just one tap, and it will auto exit after a few minutes to avoid accidental battery drain.
