WIDGET LIVE INFO BUBBLES
The home screen widgets don’t have live bubbles yet. The original reason was that on you phone’s home screen you can place other widgets along with bubble clouds, so you could have weather, time and bubbles on the same screen:

The uni-color bubbles make it look very clean

FUTURE FEATURE
Having date, time, weather, power toggles and others as bubbles is a popular request, so I am planning to implement it. It is on our “Future Features” list! (http://goo.gl/3A1ONK)
