v10.1.0: Workaround for new Galaxy Watch 4 AOD bug

Please share:

What’s new

  • Workaround for Galaxy Watch 4 ambient mode bug introduced in Feb 2022 update (see Reddit post about the issue)
  • Optimized screen refresh
  • Include tide character (~) in notification text to avoid increased vibration which replaces AutoWear vibration patterns [tip: Jindřich Pelhřimovský]
  • Remove link to discontinued Oreo Hotspot app and point to my post instead [tip: Oluwadiya Kehinde]

Allow background activity

Make sure to also allow background activity for the Bubble Cloud app in the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone:

Please test and report any issues

I give this version now into the hands of beta testers. You are the first to enjoy these new features, but in return for the early access I ask you to report any problems you find:

  • crashes, hangs, regression issues (especially if they are reproducible)
  • operation problems (unexpected behavior, mistakes)
  • grammatical errors in text
  • layout color / visibility / alignment problems (it helps if you include a screenshot)
  • illogical or missing functionality
  • further improvement suggestions

Thank you for your help!
